California Red Sheep are a meet/wool production breed. The lambs are born all red, and their wool fades to a creamy oatmeal color. They keep the red coloring on their face and legs. Both rams and ewes are naturally polled, so you won't have to ever worry about dehorning these sheep. They have gentle temperaments and are easy to handle and care for - the perfect breed for family farms!

We offer lambs for sale every year. We don't have any lambs available at this time, but please email Sarah at sarah@sailorsmokey.net if you would like to be notified when 2012 lambs are available!

Our purebred California Red Sheep are registered in the California Red Sheep Registry.
